I was lucky this summer to have a significant amount of time off. I had a busy busy spring and have a busy fall ahead of me, but this summer I had almost 7 weeks off. I spent most of that time savoring my family. It is lovely that I get to do that as there have been years in the past when it has not been possible. The twins, 4, are at a stage where the baby-ness has almost melted away, but they still have the sweetness in them. My oldest has found a voice and he uses it. It’s not a bad thing, just different from his innocent younger years. We spent time at the house in Cape Cod where Roots was held. Roots workshop, an amazing workshop by good friend Emilie Sommer, Emilie does an amazing job gathering a staff of very talented photographers together and I really enjoy being a part of it. She has some great stories from the workshop on her BLOG. If you are considering it for next year, don’t wait long as I’m certain it will sell out.
I wanted to post a few photos I shot this summer…these are called TTV images:

Lastly, some regular ones of us. The house there is magical. It is!
