This is exactly what happened to Jennifer. She was a photojournalist searching for her passion and found it documenting wedding events. And she has never looked back.

Jennifer is a quiet documentarian, searching for story-telling moments as they unfold naturally. Meghan and Van engagement photos from NYC

I recently had the pleasure of “Bolt” ing up to NYC for this engagement session. Fresh landscape was a welcome change for me. I’ve shot in NYC before, but this couple really helped bring out the character of the city. My brother lives in Queens and I’m thinking there will be more trips up there to shoot. It’s such a rich visual place.

Meghan and Van are getting married soon- September!- and they are in full-swing with wedding plans. They are working with the amazing Pam Barefoot of Atrendy Wedding and lots of great stuff in store. I can’t wait to shoot this wedding!
