Annie and Daniel in Philadelphia

Oh wow. I’m so sorry this post is so late. I’m playing catch-up after two weeks of being out of the office. These images are from Annie and Daniel’s wedding in my hometown Philadelphia. It was great to stay with my parents and get back to the city. By the way, I don’t charge for travel to Philadelphia, so please let any brides that are getting married there know!

This is the first ever cathedral-length train I have seen at a wedding, which is pretty surprising considering I’ve probably photographed over 200 weddings in the last 6 years. It was a treat to photograph it and Annie was a trooper about going wherever I wanted her to go. They were married in the most ornate and beautiful church in Philadelphia, the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. They are a very religious couple, and Daniel’s brother was among the 6 or so priests giving their wedding mass. As Annie walked in to the church, a full brass ensemble along with the organ announced her entrance. I have to say, it brought tears to my eyes.

Afterward, we went into the street and around the Union League, where they had their reception, to do photos. The Union League is so beautiful and historic and unique. It was dream to photograph, with it’s location being right near City Hall. The couple had all the bells and whistles for their reception. Check it out:

The first person to find the bouquet and email me gets a $20 gift certificate for iTunes. I’m not kidding.
